Ẹba is a popular Nigerian swallow made from cassava flakes (garri) and is eaten with various soups, such as ẹgusi, ẹfọ riro, and ọgbọnọ soup. It is starchy and considered a heavy food.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter water
  • 2 milk tins of processed cassava flakes (garri)

Method

  1. Boil water in a pot.
  2. Gradually stir in the cassava flour, and cook until it forms a smooth dough.
