Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • ¼ cup chopped onion (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)

Method

  1. Brown the ground beef, onions, and peppers in skillet on medium heat.
  2. Drain the liquid from the mixture.
  3. Place the ground beef back on the skillet.
  4. While on medium heat mix in the ketchup, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder in any order.
  5. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve over sliced, toasted hamburger buns.
