Tubani is a Nigerian dish eaten by the Hausa people. It is made from maize, soya beans, and baobab leaf powder.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups corn
  • 2 cups soy beans
  • 4 spoonfuls of kuka (baobab leaf powder)
  • 1 small piece potash
  • ½ cup chilli pepper
  • 2 teaspoon stock cube
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

Method

  1. Blend all the ingredients together, adding water as needed to make a smooth dough.
  2. Mold the dough into your desired shape.
  3. Fry the dough in vegetable oil.
